Questions before you buy
Will it work on my phone?
Most phones from the last few years take an eSIM, but not all — some budget Android models and phones sold in mainland China don't. The phone also needs to be unlocked from its network.
To check, open your phone's dialler and enter *#06#. If an EID number appears, your phone supports eSIM. No EID? Email us your phone model and we'll check for you.
When should I install it?
At home, on Wi-Fi, before you fly. Your days only start when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination, so installing early costs you nothing. An unused eSIM stays valid for 180 days after purchase.
Will my own number still work?
Yes. Orca is for data, and your usual SIM stays on your phone for calls and texts. Messenger, Viber and WhatsApp calls work over the eSIM’s data. To avoid roaming charges from your home network, turn off data roaming on your usual SIM.
Can I share it as a hotspot?
On most networks, yes — sharing uses the same data allowance. A few networks limit it, so if it doesn't work for you, write to us and we'll help.
Can I add more data later?
Unlimited and global plans can be topped up from your account or the link in your eSIM email. Single-country total-data plans can't, so if you might need more, choose the bigger plan or buy a second one.
How do I get it?
Your QR code arrives by email a few minutes after you pay, and is on your order page too. Scan it, or tap the install button on your phone — no shop, no SIM swap.
